Freelance Environmental Journalist

I’ve spent most of my life in Menorca, Spain, though I  returned to the UK to study zoology and marine biology.  In 2017 I began writing articles about the sea and agriculture for Roqueta magazine. I also translate from Spanish and Catalan into English for the magazine’s ornithologist and ethnobotanist.

Since taking courses in popular science writing and sub-editing for journalism, I’ve published aquaculture articles for animal rights organisations Sentient Media and Ethical Seafood Research.

I love to travel with a purpose so I volunteer on organic farms in France most winters. My favourite part is going on adventures in the van and poking my nose into other folks’ business to get stories.

When not writing, I work for the Soil Association sampling biodiversity on farms in England.
